Our new Vicar, Pete Watson, writes,
This picture shows my wife Angela and children, Noah and Zoe. I am a British import and have lived in New Zealand since 2007 when I was promised a tropical paradise by my wife. As it turns out, Plimmerton isn’t too bad!
I hold degrees in business and theology and was ordained in 2009. I have been a youth worker, curate and bible college student on three continents (England, Africa and New Zealand) and now am the Vicar of Pauatahanui. I love Arsenal football, running (I have done the Wellington marathon), saunas and enjoying nature either walking or sitting on the beach. Our parish is a great place to do all of those things!
Most importantly I love Jesus and the Church and hope as you browse this site you find a reflection of a parish who also love God and love their local community and sustain and express that in amazing ways. I would love to meet you so please drop into one of our services soon.
Have you got a Ukulele and want to join a group?
