Gracious God,
we dedicate this foyer to you
asking that
as well as being an entrance,
it will become a sanctified space
so that the welcome people are offered here
will speak of Your love, care and acceptance;
the books, posters and notices displayed
point to a vibrant inner life
matched by an equal resolve to reach out
to You and to others
in living worship and committed service.
May all who pass through these doors
immediately recognise you are here,
being drawn more deeply into your presence,
and return to their daily lives
knowing that You walk with them,
here and everywhere.
